Welcome and Hello

Our ethos is: a club for the whole family, we have the club for the children and young adults, a parent support group, and a siblings club. We will be holding events throughout the year for all the family. We are also planning parent only events, i.e a Spa day, Zumba, hopefully a dinner, etc We are a new club for children and young adults with disabilities between the ages of 5 – 21. We hold fortnightly sessions based at Blackburn Rovers. The sessions include a range of different sports, IT facilities, dance mats, snooker, we will also be holding specific sessions such as cake decorating, arts and crafts. We currently have four groups, two children’s disability groups split into age groups, 6-15 and 16-21. We also have a siblings group and parent/carer support group. In the forthcoming weeks and months we will be looking to enhance our parent/carer group by providing training and talks, as well as new opportunities for just having some fun, relaxing, and sharing with others about the experiences we all have in common. We are also looking into the process of starting a children’s hockey team and eventually a sports team for the siblings group. See you soon! Lizzy
